കോഴിക്കോട്ട് പത്ത് പേര്ക്ക് ബ്ലാക് ഫംഗസ്: ജില്ലയിലേക്കുള്ള മരുന്ന് ഇന്നെത്തും
കോഴിക്കോട്: പത്ത് പേർക്ക് ബ്ലാക്ക് ഫംഗസ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ അടിയന്തരമായി ജില്ലയിലേക്കുള്ള മരുന്ന് ഇന്നെത്തിക്കും. കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള രണ്ട് പേരും മലപ്പുറത്തെ അഞ്ച് പേരും ബാക്കി ജില്ലക്കാരമായ മൂന്ന് പേരുമാണ് നിലവിൽ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്. കൂടുതൽ രോഗികൾ ജില്ലയിലേക്ക് ചികിത്സയ്ക്കെത്തുന്നതുകൊണ്ടാണ് അടിയന്തരമായി മരുന്നെത്തിക്കാൻ ജില്ലാ കളക്ടർ വിളിച്ച് ചേർത്ത യോഗത്തിൽ ധാരണയായിട്ടുള്ളത്.
മരുന്നുകൾ കരിഞ്ചന്തയിൽ എത്തുന്നത് തടയാൻ രോഗികളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിന് അനുസരിച്ചാണ് മരുന്നിന് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്. ചികിത്സയിലുള്ള ഒരാളുടെ നില ഗുരുതരമാണ്. ഇതിൽ ഒരാൾ രണ്ടുതവണ കോവിഡ് പോസിറ്റീവായശേഷം പിന്നീട് നെഗറ്റീവായതാണ്. മറ്റൊരാളുടെ വീട്ടിലെ എല്ലാവർക്കും കോവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചെങ്കിലും നെഗറ്റീവായിരുന്നു. മൂന്നാമത്തെയാൾക്ക് ആന്റിജൻ ടെസ്റ്റിൽ നെഗറ്റീവായതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ആർ.ടി.പി.സി.ആർ. പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചവരിൽ നാലുപേർക്ക് കാഴ്ച നഷ്ടമായി. കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം എത്തിയവരടക്കം ആറുപേരെ വരുംദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയ്ക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കും. രോഗം ബാധിച്ചവരിൽ പലരും കോവിഡ് പോസിറ്റീവായവരാണ്. നെഗറ്റീവ് ആകുമ്പോഴാണ് ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നടത്തുക. ഒരാൾക്ക് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച നെഗറ്റീവായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇയാളുടെ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ ശനിയാഴ്ച നടത്തും. ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയ്ക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കിയാൽ മാത്രമേ കണ്ണിന്റെ ഞരമ്പുകളെ എത്രമാത്രം രോഗം ബാധിച്ചുവെന്ന് പറയാനാകൂ. ഇതനുസരിച്ചാണ് കണ്ണ് നീക്കംചെയ്യുന്നത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് തീരുമാനമെടുക്കുകയെന്ന് ഇ.എൻ.ടി. വിഭാഗം ഡോക്ടർമാർ അറിയിച്ചു.
കോവിഡ് ചികിത്സയുടെ ഭാഗമായി അമിതമായി സ്റ്റിറോയിഡ് മരുന്നുകൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുമ്പോൾ രക്തത്തിൽ പഞ്ചസാരയുടെ അളവ് കൂടുന്നതാണ് ബ്ലാക്ക് ഫംഗസ് പിടിപെടാനുള്ള ഒരു കാരണം. സ്റ്റിറോയ്ഡ് മരുന്നുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ അത് ശ്വാസകോശത്തെ ബാധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. അതിനാൽ സ്റ്റിറോയ്ഡ് മരുന്നുകൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം പ്രമേഹം നിയന്ത്രിക്കണമെന്നാണ് ഡോക്ടർമാർ പറയുന്നത്.
